1897 Quinine Gin
A delicious London dry gin that is helping to defeat malaria!
1897 Quinine Gin partners with us to help achieve a malaria free world. By donating at least £5 from the sale of every bottle (RRP £39.95) – that’s half of the producer’s profits – they are helping support our lifesaving work.
1897 Quinine Gin’s story is rooted in the origins of the malaria fight. It shares its birthday - August 20th - with World Mosquito Day, a day celebrating the occasion British Doctor Ronald Ross discovered that mosquitoes transmit malaria - one of the world’s deadliest diseases.
This historic tale of the struggle against malaria is reflected across the name and beautifully designed label, and 1897 Quinine Gin has been well received in the industry – winning a ‘Master’ award in The Spirits Business's "Design & Packaging Awards".
Ben Ellefsen, of 1897 Quinine Gin, says of our partnership “We chose Malaria No More UK as our charity partner because of their innovative, highly intelligent approach not only to fundraising but critically to leveraging those funds to best effect in tackling this horrific disease which is one of the biggest preventable killers in human history”.
