Rentokil Initial

Uniting teams and customers behind a mission: to make malaria no more!

Malaria No More UK and Rentokil Initial have been working together since 2011 when we formed a relationship based on the shared objective of tackling the ultimate pest - malaria.  Since that time Rentokil Initial staff have been united in their efforts to support us raising a fantastic £100,000 to help end malaria. Our journey together has seen funds raised through a wide variety of initiatives including participation in staff surveys, mountains climbed, onesies worn, many miles cycled, pests consumed and even a book launched. The dedication, commitment, and passion of Rentokil Initial staff have made this a truly remarkable and special partnership for all involved.

Since 2014, we have been partnering with the Rentokil Initial’s UK business and have been the beneficiary of some spectacular employee fundraising initiatives. Over the past few years we have seen colleagues at Rentokil Initial inspired to raise funds through Miles for Malaria tours, 3 peaks challenges, bake sales, car washes, beard shavings, cycle challenges, car boot sales, a naked calendar, Pestaurants, Project Onesie and much more. We have even seen one member of staff travel all the way to Tanzania to Climb Mount Kilimanjaro.

Andy Ransom comments on the rationale for our partnership: “Our vision is to protect people and enhance lives, which has great synergy with Malaria No More UK’s cause. We are proud that our business and colleagues are helping contribute to the outstanding goal of ending malaria deaths for good.”

Rentokil Initial UK are also donating £1 for every new customer signing up to their MyInitial and MyMedTrack online reporting tools. The many ways in which Rentokil Initial are supporting Malaria No More UK show that they are true malaria business champions - our partnership is not only saving lives but it is engaging colleagues and customers in the winnable fight against malaria.
